Located in our beautiful Nashville, TN facility and reporting to the Associate Vice President, the Client Manager – HVAC/R and Plumbing Service will identify and acquire new customers and support existing clients to secure profitable HVAC/R and plumbing services and maintenance agreements. You will excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with customers from first contact to closing the deal.
Responsibilities:
- Manage contract and non-contract accounts.
- Estimate and manage HVAC/R and plumbing service projects of various sizes.
- Continually update/maintain CRM.
- Participate in the AMS client outreach/metrics program.
- Maintain a culture of cooperation/lead sharing between other AMS business groups and maintain a “we are selling AMS” mindset.
- Continually seek out new business opportunities by:
- Leveraging existing AMS client relationships.
- Thinking “outside of the box” so that all potential opportunities are considered.
- Attending industry events.
- Networking with potential clients.
- Discussing ideas with AMS Management and other AMS business groups.
- Provide continual lead sharing and collaboration with other AMS business groups.
- AMS encourages networking from time to time, which requires attendance at functions that occur after hours and weekends.
- Assist and complement the administration and support services of the department to achieve maximum quality, efficiencies, and optimum growth, as well as corporate profitability.
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience in the HVAC/R, plumbing, or construction industry.
- 5+ years of HVAC/R or Plumbing Service sales experience.
- Extensive sales experience with proven successful relationship building and selling of service contracts and repeat business; strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences.
- Ability to work independently, a self-starter who is both goal-oriented and customer-oriented.
- Demonstrated competency in closing deals through effective negotiations.
